Getting Connected

When you launch the P2P window, Deepnet automatically opens the search screen, detects hosts and establishes a connection to the Gnutella network, and detects any files you are downloading or sharing.  The status bar at the bottom of your search screen tells you whether you are connected, and how many files are being shared.

indicates whether a connection has been established

indicates the number of hosts/nodes you are connected with. A minimum of one host is required to share files.

tells you how many shared files are available.

As soon as you have one or more hosts (or nodes) connected and your shared files have been detected, you will have a stable connection and can start searching for files.
